The food is always great. Just make sure you have plenty of time in your schedule. There is almost always a wait, and speed of service doesn't seem to be one of their main focal points.

This is a nice breakfast place in downtown Louisville with a retro vibe. However, be fast with your meal and don't take up your table for too long. Servers expect to be tipped well and give attitude and basic service when you don't. This used to be a regular for me, but after I was confronted by staff, I haven't been back.

Cute place, had a 30 min wait but totally worth it. Prices on the menu are all around $10. Sodas aren't listed on the menu but after asking the waitress they serve Coke products. Kids menu is also available around $3-4 for each meal. Definitely would come again!

Chicken and waffles was the perfect southern breakfast. I loved it. The coffee was good, pancakes, grits and eggs were good, everything was wonderful. I would definitely come back here for breakfast and was glad they existed to give me a taste of something different and delicious!

Very good, even when there were equipment problems in the kitchen. Good french toast. Sorry about the half eaten food photos... So good I almost forgot to take a photo.

I'm in Michigan and went down to Nashville for the weekend for some music business. On the way home, we drove through Ky, and stumbled upon this place. WOW. the wait to get in was well worth it. The biscuits and gravy were the best we have ever gotten and don't get me started on the chocolate banana pancakes. Yummy. I feel like taking a 6 hour trip soon just to go there to eat again. Can't wait to come back once I plan another trip.

Friendly and knowledgeable service. After a well worth it 40 minute wait, we enjoyed a Sunday brunch with crepes, bananas foster pancakes and a few exceptional egg benedicts (one with pulled chicken and then other was a cajun sirloin prepared a perfect mid-rare).A must do when in Louisville! Even if it's for only 14 hours, like our overnight stay was.Sidebar, get the pitcher of mimosas...way better deal than by the glass...and much more effective. We'll be back to sample other eats from this huge, southern-esque menu.

Staff was very friendly and our waitress Robin was great. She was quick and courteous even though she had a handful of tables. Food was good as well. Good portions even for the kids plate. I had the Kelsey KY Brown and enjoyed that. Definitely would recommend this place.

I had no idea what to expect when we walked into this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. Server was really nice, food was delicious and unique, the vibe was cool, and the prices were very fair. I'll probably go back tomorrow.

While the food and service was good, after a 55 minute wait, they weren't excellent. I would definitely recommend this place, as long as you keep your expectations partly in check. The cinnamon roll was by far the highlight. There is NOTHING I can argue against there.

Food was great. Had stuffed French toast and was amazing. Wife had the burrito and she said better she has ever had. Staff was friendly and looked like a cool place but the inside decor was kinda blah imo. But if in area it’s worth the stop. Enjoy

Don't get the Reuben. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good, no dressing could be tasted, there wasn't enough sauerkraut and the bread was soggy. I would rate lower but I got lunch at a breakfast place so shame on me. People in my group got breakfast and said it was good.

Excellent service, wonderful free coffee available while you wait to be seated. And if course the food is delicious as well. It will be a place I come back to the next time I am visiting Louisville.

This was such a great find in downtown Louisville. The service was great - we had Jonathan who gave us some recommendations since it was our first time in. I had the Mr. Potato Head, which was excellent. Portion sizes were great too - you left feeling full, not overstuffed. My only regret is that we had to get on the road and couldn't sample some of their interesting breakfast cocktails!

Nothing was very bad and nothing was very good. The definition of 3 stars I suppose. Most surprising was the relative lack of atmosphere. It felt like a cafeteria, and we were sat in the back which made it more difficult to get our server's attention.Try The Porch for breakfast. Please like if you find this helpful. Thanks!

Very friendly staff. Wait time was a little long but it was worth the wait. The bar attendant even explained the drinks and specials. Very clean establishment. Parking was a little tricky but that's expected in this part of town. Prices were fair.

Excellent! This place was exactly what I hoped it would be. I was in town for ABA and love breakfast. This place truly delivered. Fast, excellent service. Central location. Good, cozy ambiance, and the food was fantastic. Next time I come to town, I’ll definitely be back! Keep up the great work! P.s the waitress Melissa was fantastic 🌟

Delicious breakfast in the city! I love breakfast so I am cautious with recommendations when out of town. A coworker suggested this place for a weekend trip I had planned. It did not disappoint! I had the Mr. Potato Head casserole and my wife went with an a la cart egg and pancake since normal options are typically too much for her to enjoy in one sitting. We were both very happy with our choices. I would absolutely visit again when I am in town and would recommend to others.

I'd give them a zero if I had the option. My ex wife took my son there for breakfast this morning. She's from out of town, we (my son and I) just oved down here (the both of us from the Chicagoland area). I hope that I have an opportunity to add a picture to the review, because it's worth a thousand words!

Overall its a good brunch place. My food came out hot and I did enjoy my meal. My wait staff there has always been very attentive even when dealing with large volumes of people. However, its a little pricey when compared to other comparable brunch places in the East End of Louisville and a lot of the time its just so crowded it doesn’t seem like its worth it.

Yesterday was my very first day going to Wild Eggs, I was a Zeggs gal! I was converted! I ordered the Mr. Potatoe head casserole no meat and blue berry muffin. When I tell you that muffin took me to heaven and back so I can finish eating the rest of my food........it did just that! The casserole was good too but that muffin was from God himself. I WILL be going back! The service was great. We had Sammie as our waitress, she was awesome. Richard I think was the manager and he was awesome as well. Good food+great service sounds like a winner to me!

Always love a restaurant that closes before 4pm as it’s quite likely to have some eggs-cellent breakfast. Didn’t miss the mark with this one, a good and solid breakfast selection with quick service. Bit of a wait anytime you come, but generally to be expected at restaurants with limited hours such as this. Staff was mostly friendly - but seems like the chaos of always being busy has taken a toll on most of the wait staff and management. Give this place a try for yourself, it’s certainly got a good array of options for anyone but you might find yourself feeling rushed by the hustle and bustle going on around you.

Great value for what you get, as it appears that everything is prepared fresh and hot. It's worth the wait. Take a seat at the little tiny counter in the front if you are by yourself. Don't worry there's a huge dining area in the back. It seems to be that local's favorite.

How can you make so freaking good breakfast man? I visited this place alone and Easily one of the best breakfast places around Louisville. The ambiance is really good, their coffee is awakening. Almost everyone suggested to have the kalamity katie’s so that is what I had with a side of fruit bowl and breakfast tater tots (these were on a different level). Great place. Must visit.

If you're looking for a great breakfast, brunch or late lunch spot, look no further! So many delicious options that we came two days in a row. Service is ideal and the menu will have you drooling. Food always came out surprisingly quick, even while they were busy. Ty was outstanding at helping us choose from all the options!

Questions & Answers

Carry out is available and orders are usually filled in about 15 minutes. I will usually order carry out if I have something I need to do. There is actually a very well known person from Louisville that gets carry out quite often.
